WORLD EGG DAY 2017

As per directions of Dr. Muhammad Aslam, Chairman – PPA and Dr. Arshad Hanif Ch, Zonal Chairman – PPA (Northern), World Egg Day 2017 was celebrated in all over Pakistan in a very organized manner on 13th October, 2017 under the supervision of Mr. Khalid Saleem Malik, Ex-Chairman – PPA.

Farmer Education

Symposium ``Layer Hygiene & Management/ Layer Vaccination & Titer Monitoring” on Sunday 5th November, 2017 at 11:00 am Serena Hotel Faisalabad.
Farmer issues regarding layer management and vaccination program were discussed and special guidance was provided by experts.

Benefits of Broiler Chicken

Chicken meat provides you protein that is good for body growth. It is the source of essential minerals like phosphorus and calcium which are good for bones.
Chicken keeps you away from heart diseases , it eliminates the risk of cancer. It gives you tryptophan and vitamins.

Documentaries and Talk shows

PPA is making documentaries for public awareness about chicken meat and egg and their health benefits. All the information provided in these documentaries is based on scientific research and approved medical facts. Issues regarding poultry industry will be resolved through logical reasoning.

Expos and Seminars

PPA is arranging multiple events including educational and industrial expo and seminars this will be beneficial for both farmer and consumer. It will create the opportunity for the whole community and stake to interact and find solution to make the business economically more sustainable.

Health benefits of Egg

Egg is regarded as super food due to its nutritional value and health benefits, it is the cheapest source of essential body nutrients ie proteins, vitamins, minerals, good cholesterol & some brain developing vitamins like choline. Egg is healthy to consume for all age of persons irrespective of gender.

To overcome animal protein deficiency in the country and to educate farmers through introducing new technology evolved using latest research methodologies.

OUR HISTORY

It was the start of 6th decade of the 20th century, when the Government of Pakistan felt the need of intensive poultry rearing program.

So, it was in 1962 when commercial poultry was initially introduced in Pakistan by M/S Shaver’s of Canada with the help of PIA and that led to the formation of the PIA shaver with the poultry sector. Our government supported poultry industry in all aspects that helped the industry to develop rapidly.
